About
A portfolio demonstration of a multi-tenant healthcare SaaS
MedConnect Pro shows production-oriented architecture for interviews and potential-client conversations. It is not a deployed clinical service and is not HIPAA certified.
Purpose and audience
MedConnect Pro is a portfolio and interview demonstration of how a senior engineering team could design a multi-tenant healthcare SaaS product. It is production-oriented in architecture, not a deployed clinical service. All patient information is synthetic.

Architecture
Next.js frontend
apps/web is a Next.js App Router application. Public marketing routes do not inherit the dashboard shell.
React, TypeScript, Tailwind, and shared UI primitives.
Current
NestJS API
apps/api is a modular NestJS 12 application with REST and generated OpenAPI.
Domain logic stays in the API, not in the Next.js app.
Current
PostgreSQL
Local Compose plus TypeORM. Tenant isolation uses practice scoping and row-level security.
Synthetic seed data only. Never introduce real PHI.
Current
This is a modular monolith in an npm workspace. Do not treat domains as independently deployed microservices.
Implementation state
M0–M7 shipped

Later: deploy
GitHub Actions, preview environments, and production hosting are a later milestone.
